BBB Industries remanufactured starters meet or exceed OE standards because they’re remanufactured using processes similar to the way new starters are made. Components are gauged, sorted, tested and renewed to OE-quality specifications, and vital parts are replaced with new ones where needed. Scheduled laboratory testing of starters from the assembly line includes loading the starter to an OE-quality specification. Instead of a “one-size-fits-all” approach, BBB's test engineers make certain that each starter model is tested with the load specification for its particular applications.

Starter Troubleshooting Guide

- No Crank Condition

• Ensure the Battery is fully charged (12.6 volts) and is the correct size for the vehicle
• Use a Battery Tester to test the condition of your battery

- Slow Crank Condition

• Clean terminals with a Battery Cleaner and Battery Terminal Cleaner Tool
• Make sure all connections are tight and replace frayed / corroded Battery Cables

- No Noise / No Start

• Check Ignition Switch and wiring from switch to solenoid
• Check Neutral Safety Switch

- Free Spinning / Noisy Starter

• Check Flywheel and pinion for damage or wear
• Check Starter Motor Shims and Starter Bolts for proper alignment and torque
