MAHLE® CareMetix cabin air filters utilize five layers of media to protect against harmful and allergenic substances. They feature a proprietary, five-layer construction that eliminates odors that conventional cabin air filters cannot.

1. High Performance Particulate Layer: Retains pollen, fine dust (PM2.5, PM1) and ultrafine particles (such as diesel soot and brake dust)
2. Molecular Layer: Eliminates unpleasant odors and protects against allergens and almost completely prevents the growth of bacteria and molds
3. Activated Carbon Layer: Removes harmful gases such as hydrocarbons highly effectively
