This TransGo 6R80 Shift Kit® Valve Body Repair Kit fits 2006-14 Ford vehicles equipped with a GEN1 6R60, 6R75 and 6R80 transmission, as well as 2003-up BMW, Audi, VW, Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce Maserati, Hyundai, Kia and Jaguars vehicles equipped with ZF6HP19, ZF6HP26 and ZF6HP32 GEN1 valve body. This kit does not fit ZF6HP21, ZF6HP28 or ZF6HP34 with a GEN2 valve body.

Common concerns with this transmission are TCC shudder, rough coast down shifts, gear ratio error and solenoid performance codes. Firstly, these complaints are the result of the wear in the pressure regulator (PR) valve bore and the pressure regulator valve balance bushing. Secondly, the torque converter clutch regulator valve design and calibration were in dire need of an upgrade to address the TCC shudder complaint.

The kit includes a hardened steel drop-in two-piece pressure regulator and a redesigned TCC regulator valves for a quick no-hassle install. Our drop in valves require no reaming or tooling.

Both the redesigned drop-in steel PR valve and TCC regulator valve, feature longer lands which restores the hydraulic integrity of the circuit by utilizing previously unused and therefore unworn areas of their bore. Furthermore, the longer lands increase bore longevity by redistributing the load over a greater surface area. The kit also includes new rubber dampener inserts that flatten out over time and new wire retainer clips to replace the occasional broken one.

TransGo Reprogramming Kit™ valve body performance kits are made for Heavy Duty and/or Performance applications, and include additional features such as:

• Gear Command™: Allows full control of downshifting and will hold any gear to any RPM. Retains automatic up shifts in the drive position. Certain units allow manual up shifts on driver command.
• Manual Shift Control: This feature fully converts the valve body to manual/stick shift operation – no automatic shifts. Most Manual Shift Control kits also allow you the ability to easily convert back to automatic.
• Tuneless: Patent-pending internal calibration technology “tuneless” allows install without the need for additional transmission tuning software or programmers.

TransGo Shift Kit® valve body repair kits are a combination of new and re-engineered components that are primarily installed in the valve body, but sometimes the pump or even in the transmission itself. These kits solve a variety of inherent problems and weaknesses that differ by transmission model, including usual warp and wear, often allowing a higher mileage transmission to work better than a new one. Typical components of a valve body repair kit include springs, valves, check balls, gaskets, separator plates, etc.
